*Wednesday April 23rd is our Travel & Arrival day, and we will begin around 3:30 when everyone has rolled in. We will enjoy dinners together at all of my favorite Local places and I look forward to showing you my most favorite spots on Earth to photograph. – ROBIN
Robin’s workshops give you a total sense of place, both past and present, for the best local food, old tales of times past, scenic views for nature, landscape, architecture, small town life and a fun “Costumed Model in the Landscape” Shoot too. We will explore a variety of themes and subjects to inspire our compositional eye, blended with short daily presentations to set our photographic intention.
Robin has spent her entire life photographing here, and her long love and knowledge of these Islands puts you at the perfect place at the right time of day. And as with all of Robin’s workshops, there is the fun element of surprise and the unexpected to inspire us!
Workshop price includes daily personal instruction and trips to favorite locations. We will stay on St. Simons for fun evening walks on the pier and around the village, enjoy the best relaxed restaurants for local seafood, and make fun excursions to incredible coastal views along Jekyll’s coast, and Historic Brunswick too. Fun model shoots are known to pop up from time to time 😉
Dining and Hotel accommodations are not included. Participants are offered a discounted rate at our recommended hotel. Each participant is responsible for contacting the hotel to confirm their reservations and make credit card payment arrangements. Even for those familiar with Jekyll and St. Simons, Robin brings a new eye and revelational approach to photography here. The past inspires us with stories of those that came before, in beautiful places rich with layers of time. Robin’s students enjoy an insider’s view, fun with the locals, great dining, and visits to hidden locations and private views.
