Reflecting the Ancients

Symmetry by reflection and colors of water take us into a dreamlike state, deep within the mind of the ancients. From Egyptian Revival remnants of 1920’s Paris, to modern sculptures set among the ruins of Pompeii, Robin Davis shows us a simplified state of pure fantasy, but with a familiarity of the old mythologies and symbol.
